Remote Assistance
Now that most of us have fast broadband connections, it is very practical to use a secure remote connection over the internet to assist customers. Many computer problems can be fixed by remote access and if you have a working, reliable internet connection contact me for help now.
I use a secure, reliable system to connect to your computer if you give permission. Note that this does not mean I am able to access your computer at any time. Once the support link has finished you need to authorise another connection to give me access again.
The process is simple :
- Contact me to arrange a suitable time to do the support session with you. Provide as much detail as you can about the problem you are having. You will need to be seated in front of your computer during the entire support session.
- Before the session begins, you need to download the small application and install it to enable me to connect to your computer. If this is not possible, let me know when arranging the support session time.
- At the time of the support session, call me when you are ready and I will access your computer remotely. You will be able to watch the entire process.
